A bespoke lighting solution for 2 of the Neko health debrief rooms at the Sibyllegatan in Stockholm based on diffuse colored lighting that can change dynamically before, during and after the patients consult the doctor. The lighting should be integrated in the interior architecture to create soft gradients on the wall and recesses that are part of the room. Integration with the main display screen is primordial to achieve the right effect.
Initial design - 24 hours
Explore a few different lighting scenarios based on the room’s architecture and intended effects in a diagrammatic way. Identify products required to achieve the lighting effect. Cost the different options.
Simulation & renders - 24 hours
Test the design with renders to visualize the interaction between the lighting, space and materials
Physical test - 40 hours
Get sample products and produce as much of a 1:1 model as possible or smaller sections when possible to validate the design quickly. An additional budget for light samples and materials is expected for this phase.
Detail design - 16 hours
Revise the design based and produce fabrication drawings, wiring and system diagrams.
